Appearance and Behavior: Steve has spent over a decade in a nightmarish hell dimension, suffering constant injury and spending months at a time exposed to incredibly harsh conditions, with no extended time for the serum in his blood to heal his injuries in any meaningful way. He is weathered and scarred; His hair is long, reaching almost to his shoulders, and not well kept. He wears a full beard. Steve has also been suffering an infection of a kind, and as such his immune system and mental state are both compromised.
Steve has always been known as a compassionate, forthright, kind person with a commanding presence. He has, at the point he finds his way to The Nexus Hotel, spent more years living in the violent landscape of Dimension Z than he has modern America. His demeanor has changed, though the extent to which that is the case is not yet clear.
Additionally, Steve has a son- rescued as an infant and raised single-handedly by Steve in the wasteland of Dimension Z, Ian is the most important thing in his life.
To Know: Steve is an honest person who will go to immense lengths to do the right thing. Traditionally, his methods are fair and not excessively violent; he can be reserved, but is rarely closed off; he's as quick to converse or comfort as he is to take action or fight. There is no guarantee how much of that remains true.
